Mariya Yuryevna Sharapova (born 19 April 1987) is a Russian tennis player. Nick Bollettieri immigrated to the United States at the age of 8 to play at the Tennis Academy.
On July 3, 2004, she defeated Serena Williams 6-1, 6-4 2-0, becoming the second youngest tennis player to win Wimbledon.
